Committee Mission: The mission of the Economic Development Committee is to monitor the awareness and analysis of issues impacting economic development; to make recommendations to the Chamber's Board regarding positions they need to take; to maintain relationships with organizations that impact economic development; and to serve as a knowledge base for issues affecting the region and to disseminate them on the web.

Projects:

• The Economic Development Committee is engaged in a major project to rebrand the Dulles Region. They have commissioned Dr. Steven Fuller, Chair of George Mason University’s Center for Regional Analysis, to provide the Chamber with new and unique econometrics as it relates to the Dulles Region.
• They are also preparing an aerial map that will show the development taking place in the Dulles Region on an annual basis.

Meeting Schedule: Third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Meeting Location: TETRA Partners' offices located at 11450 Baron Cameron Avenue, Reston, VA. At the intersection of Baron Cameron Avenue and Browns Chapel Road.
